Stumbled upon this gem, and can’t wait to return! I haven’t been to the city since pre-Covid- and made reservations online with an oyster bar for happy hour- only to get there and it’s no longer in existence- i asked Google for “oysters near me” and it directed me to two- Sel Rrose happened to be in the direction of our next stop- we were thankfully surprised- great atmosphere, the staff was knowledgeable and made killer cocktails! Best Bourbon Manhattan I’ve had! As a chef, I’m picky, the oysters were fresh! The cucumber mignonette was refreshing with the sweet petites! And the bread service was anything but boring! Highly recommend!
Visiting from the west coast and had to stop by my old LES haunt for some oysters and a cocktail before heading to the airport. The food and staff do not disappoint and the newly designed space and menu were delightful as were the staff. Wishing I could put y’all in my pocket and take you home with me but alas I shall have to wait until my next trip back east. Until then farewell my loves ❤️
New and improved Sel Rrose! We came for drinks and a tasty meal. Second time visiting since restaurant revamp/recently reopened. I am so happy with the change.

Came here for their weekly happy hour. We came on a Monday at 5pm and had a reservation. They had 5 different types of $1 oysters for their happy hour, so me and my friend had a dozen each. So yummy! The drinks were less than $20 per cocktail and they had some interesting food options too. I liked the vibe of this place. It’s great for a date or for just catching up with friends.
I consistently visit for happy hour oysters when in NYC. Today, Morgan at the bar provided an excellent experience, crafting some incredibly delicious cocktails.
I came here for afternoon brunch on a Sunday and everything was on point. The bartender never left my drink empty. Espresso martini were super tasty. One brunch spot worth returning.

Server took time to come back to the table so I would have just order everything at once just to get food and drinks together!

Went here for the happy hour oysters… They are NOT $1 oysters - they are $2 each, and although there are 5 types to choose from — they were SO small and NOT that tasty or delicious. Waiters were not friendly, they make you feel uncomfortable if you don’t order a lot (I came to try oysters, by myself, I wasn’t looking for a big dinner meal), they give you mean looks and sort of have an attitude. Also the menu doesn’t have any specials on drinks, and the food menu is VERY limited. Will never recommend this spot to anybody.
